About Me

My name is Laila, a designer.

 

I am Syrian/ Dutch, currently residing in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

Design has been my passion for years, and I studied for two years at the Arab International University in Syria, majoring in Graphic Design, where I learned the fundamentals of design and developed strong skills in Photoshop and Illustrator.

​

In July 2024, I graduated from Media College Amsterdam with a degree in Allround Mediamaker. where I learned more about design and print. My time there was incredibly enjoyable and valuable, especially in my final year. During this year, I completed an internship at Amsterdam and Partners, where I worked for several months. It was a highly rewarding experience, allowing me to contribute to various projects such as billboards, magazine design, and other print and online work.

Additionally, I’ve had the opportunity to work with companies like Al-Aseel, Al-Wadi and Aurora foods designing branding likelogos and product packaging for their dairy lines. I also have experience designing business cards, magazine covers, posters, banners, print work and web design. So I am skilled in Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and XD, Wix, Wordpress.

Outside of design, I have few hobbies that keeps me inspired. I love cooking, watching series, listening to music, making coffee, and traveling to new places whenever I get the chance.
